Like Caeser, The Curry Club from work came, but it was the Ambala that conquered... again. Very good food, very friendly and helpful and very clean. A few places around us, but this is the favourite. The pricing is, to my mind, surprising competitive and very good value for money.Go on, give them a try, you know you want to!

The staff are lovely, extremely friendly and welcoming. And the food in the restaurant we enjoyed very much. (We opted for the buffet and were very happy with it.) Sure, the place seems tired and in need of a little TLC, some of which is really minor but would make a big difference. And perhaps a little more attention to detail with regards to the rooms wouldn't go amiss. But having accepted this, one can say it all adds to the overall charm. Wonderful place.
